Research
My research areas include the characterization of bacterial secondary metabolites and bacteriocins, with a focus on their antibacterial, antifungal and antibiofilm properties. I also conduct toxicological studies and investigate genetic variation in Drosophila melanogaster to understand organismal responses to environmental and physiological challenges. Together, these research directions contribute to advancing scientific knowledge in microbial bioactive compounds and model-organism–based biological analysis.
