The Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) program in Orthodontics is a specialized postgraduate degree program designed to equip dental graduates with advanced knowledge, skills, and expertise in the field of orthodontics. Orthodontics focuses on the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of dental and facial irregularities, including malocclusions (improper bites) and misalignments of the teeth and jaws. Key features of program are as follows:

Focus on Orthodontics: The MDS program in Orthodontics is specifically tailored to provide in-depth training in the theory and practice of orthodontic treatment. Students learn about craniofacial growth and development, biomechanics of tooth movement, diagnosis of malocclusions, treatment planning, and various orthodontic treatment modalities.

Comprehensive Curriculum: The curriculum of the MDS program covers a wide range of subjects relevant to orthodontics. It includes advanced topics such as cephalometrics, dental and skeletal anchorage, orthognathic surgery, interdisciplinary treatment planning, orthodontic biomechanics, and management of craniofacial anomalies.
