A Master of Dental Sciences (MDS) program in Dental Materials offers specialized training in the development, characterization, and clinical application of materials used in dentistry. Key features of the program are as follows:

1. Foundations of Dental Materials: The curriculum begins with a comprehensive overview of the fundamental principles of dental materials science. Students learn about the properties, structure, composition, and behavior of materials commonly used in dentistry, including metals, ceramics, polymers, and composites.

2. Material Selection and Biocompatibility: Students delve into the criteria and considerations involved in selecting appropriate materials for various dental applications, taking into account factors such as mechanical properties, aesthetics, biocompatibility, and longevity.
