On Tuesday, 25th November 2025, students of the Operations Management and Organizational Behavior course from the Institute of Business & Health Management (IBHM), DUHS visited Indus Hospital under the guidance of Program Director Dr. Muhammad Sufyan Ramish and faculty members Ms. Yasmeen Khan, Dr. Amna Jatoi, and Ms. Hira Hashmani, Assistant Manager Training & Development. The visit began with an informative session led by the Chief Operating Officer of Indus Hospital, who discussed the hospital’s mission, vision, operational model, types of hospitals, key performance indicators, evidence-based decision-making, data-driven strategies, and career pathways for healthcare managers. Students then toured the hospital in groups, gaining practical exposure to the Emergency Department’s triage system, where patients are categorized as P1, P2, and P3, and learning about pharmacy operations and the role of clinical pharmacists from Mr. Aslam.
