The Director General of Health Services (DGHS), Punjab, has procured DOWRAB (Rabies Vaccine) from the Dow Institute of Life Sciences (DILS-DUHS)—marking a strong step forward in collaborative public health efforts.

This initiative highlights DUHS’s commitment to community welfare, ensuring that DOWRAB is now freely available through DGHS Punjab to improve access to life-saving treatment.

With locally produced vaccines, Pakistan is moving towards self-reliance in vaccine production, reducing dependency on imports and saving valuable foreign exchange.
