(Highlights) Academic Session Titled “Exploring Skin Diseases through the Lens of Histopathology”
The Department of Dermatology at Dow Medical College (DUHS) successfully organized an engaging academic session titled “Exploring Skin Diseases through the Lens of Histopathology” on April 24th, 2025. This collaborative event brought together expert dermatologists and esteemed histopathologists.
Dr. Humaira Talat, Head of the Department of Dermatology, served as the Program Director, while Dr. Fareheen Ashfaq moderated the session. The co-organizers included Dr. Reema Mirza (Assistant Professor), Dr. Alina Ahmed (Senior Registrar), Dr. Neha Rana (Senior Registrar), and Dr. Asma Muzammil (Consultant Dermatologist).
The event was graced by Prof. Naseem Ahmed (Head of the Department of Pathology, DMC) and Dr. Nadeem Zehra (Senior Consultant Dermatologist) as Guests of Honour. The distinguished panelists included Prof. Humaira Maryam, Prof. Rabia Ghafoor, Dr. Sadaf Asim, Dr. Sadia Masood, and Dr. Madiha Sajid.
A series of interactive and insightful lectures were delivered by prominent speakers, including Dr. Yusra Shafique, Dr. Bushra Sikandar, Dr. Saba Shamim, Dr. Shaheera Shakeel, and Dr. Humaira Talat. The session provided an enriching academic experience for all participants.
