The Nursing Services conducted a three-day Obstetrics and Gynecology workshop for nurses at Dow University Hospital. The workshop was facilitated by a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, and pharmacists. The course focused on Prenatal, Intranatal, and Postnatal care to ensure a smooth pregnancy and labour for the mother and baby. The objective was to train nurses on essential aspects of assessment, intervention, and patient education during pregnancy and after birth. The course included lectures, simulation activities, hands-on training, and discussions to maximize learning. The training ended with a closing ceremony, where 16 participants received certificates from the Medical Superintendent.
