The Department of Emergency Medicine at the Trauma Center, Dow University Hospital, celebrated Pakistan Independence Day with the theme “Green Pakistan,” emphasising tree plantation at the Trauma Center. Distinguished guests included the Vice Chancellor of DUHS, Prof. Mohammed Saeed Quraishy T.I.; Pro VC/MS, Prof. Dr. Jahan Ara Hassan; Prof. Dr. Zarnaz Wahid; Director of Nursing, Ms. Rehana Panjwani; Security Director, Colonel (R) Qaimuddin; and, Zulfiqar Bughti.
The 77th Jashan-e-Azadi Cake Cutting Ceremony was held inside the Trauma Center by the Vice Chancellor, along with the ED Medical Team, to encourage and motivate their continuous 24/7 emergency services.
The program was organized by the Young and Energetic HOD-ED, Dr. Ayesha Abbasi, and Senior Manager of the ED Trauma Center, Dr. Mumtaz Ali Baloch.
