A first ever Intra – DUHS Reels Making Competition was held between the students on theme title “Sixty Seconds of Oral Health Promotion”. Three cash prize awards were given to the best reels made by groups of students of 3rd year BDS and BS programs in dentistry. This competition was held on the World Oral Health Day in 2024.
The topics of reels included Tooth Avulsion, Oral Cancers, Myths regarding Scaling, Halitosis / Bad breath, Fluoride, Dental Wellness Diet, Dental Myths and Facts, Harmful effects of smoking and tobacco, Prevention from tooth extraction, Removable partial denture, tooth destructive habits, Brushing techniques, Community-based hygiene and Dental flossing.
