Impact Assessment-Ration Drive 2025
The Ration Drive 2025 “Rishta Ahsas Ka” successfully supported 32 low-income families within the DUHS community by providing grocery packages sufficient for 20-25 days during Ramadan. This initiative directly contributed to SDG 2: Zero Hunger and helped reduce financial stress on janitorial staff, security guards, and other underprivileged employees. Through effective fundraising, logistics, and volunteer coordination, a total of Rs. 75,490 worth of essential items, vegetables, and transport support was distributed, ensuring food security and dignity for beneficiaries during the holy month.
Beyond immediate relief, the drive fostered empathy, teamwork, and CSR skills among CSSS members and volunteers, enhancing their abilities in fundraising, communication, and project management. Partnerships with donors, market vendors, and DUHS departments strengthened the university’s community image while building long-term networks for future projects. This year’s outreach, though smaller than 2024 (32 vs. 45 families), maintained a meaningful and quantifiable impact by securing over 640 days’ worth of food supply across all recipient households.
