The Ojha Institute of Chest Diseases, DUHS in collaboration with the Communicable Disease Control (CDC) is honored to share the successful conclusion of our 3-day Free Hepatitis B & C Screening and Vaccination Camp, held from February 12–14, 2026 at OICD, DUHS.
By the Numbers
- 828 employees screened
- 836 vaccines administered
This initiative, dedicated exclusively to the well-being of our DUHS employees, was made possible under the inspiring leadership of our Patron-in-Chief Prof. Dr. Nazli Hossain, Vice Chancellor, DUHS, and Patron Prof. Dr. Jahan Ara Hasan, Pro-Vice Chancellor, DUHS, whose commitment to preventive healthcare continues to guide us.
We would also like to thank Dr. Samreen Ashraf, Additional Director, Communicable Disease Control (CDC-TB), Government of Sindh, for her valuable contributions.
We extend our gratitude to Prof. Dr. Niaz Hussain, Director, OICD, DUHS, and the dedicated facilitation team: - Dr. Ghulam Murtaza Soho, Deputy Director, OICD
- Dr. Saima Samad, Infectious Disease Consultant, OICD
- Dr. Hassan Raza, Pharmacy Incharge, OICD
- Dr. Tehreem Ansari, Assistant Professor, DUHS
With this camp, our cumulative vaccine doses administered since January 2025 at the TB-Integrated Clinic have reached 2,409 — a milestone we could not have achieved without the participation of our DUHS family.
Missed the camp? No problem.
This ongoing initiative remains exclusive to all DUHS employees and paramedic staff. You may still walk in at the TB-Integrated Clinic (OPD) for screening and vaccination.
To everyone who came forward, and to every hand that made this possible: thank you. Together, we are building a healthier tomorrow.
