The Cultural Exchange Society of the Dow Students’ Global Scholars Community

The Cultural Exchange Society of the Dow Students’ Global Scholars Community, in collaboration with the Directorate of Global Engagement, DUHS, arranged an unforgettable event on Pakistan’s Independence Day on 13th August 24!

Held in the vibrant DMC Courtyard, the event featured a bustling Cultural Bazaar where we invited various vendors, from crochet and resin art stalls to biryani and kulfi. We ensured that all start-up businesses were supported by the Dow community, reflecting our commitment to empowering small local businesses.

In addition to promoting entrepreneurship, we also highlighted the efforts of other student societies, including MedAngle, and welcomed Feed Pakistan organization,who generously donated their entire proceeds to a noble cause.

But the fun didn’t stop there! We hosted a painting day where participants expressed their creativity on tote bags and canvases. This activity was designed to bring together people from diverse cultural backgrounds, allowing them to share their values and enjoy a memorable day of art and unity.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this event a resounding success! Let’s continue to celebrate our rich heritage and the power of community.
