We are delighted to announce the commencement of the E-Doctor Project at Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS)—an innovative initiative aimed at bridging the healthcare gap in Pakistan.

This transformative project leverages technology to connect patients in remote and underserved areas with qualified female doctors who are not currently practicing medicine. The E-Doctor Project provides virtual consultations and education in family medicine while guiding individuals on accessing quality healthcare services, especially for women and children.

By empowering female doctors to offer virtual consultations, this initiative not only improves healthcare outcomes but also promotes women’s economic empowerment and social inclusion. It holds the potential to revolutionize healthcare access in Pakistan, ensuring that thousands in neglected communities receive the care they deserve.

We extend heartfelt congratulations to the visionary team behind the E-Doctor Project:

-Vice Chancellor Prof. Mohammed Saeed Quraishy, T.I

-Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Jahan Ara Hassan

-The dedicated team of doctors and academicians at DUHS and EDUCAST
