Surgery has traditionally been regarded as a popular and competitive specialty. However, candidates with an interest in a surgical career face many challenges in obtaining appropriate surgical educational opportunities. The hands-on dissection workshop provides an opportunity for the trainees to explore their surgical interests, develop surgical skills, and interact with mentors in their desired surgical field of interest, and collaborate with trainees from other clinical training programs.
Join us for the 11th hands-on Cadaveric Temporal Bone Dissection Workshop, which is organized on 15th &16th December, 2023 at the Department of ENT-Head & Neck Surgery, Dow Medical College, DUHS.
Dr. Ruth K.M. Pfau- CHK, aims to acquaint trainees and young ENT surgeons with the basic knowledge about the surgical anatomy of the ear and relevant surgical procedures performed for the management of different ear pathologies.
As the fraternity of ENT surgeons is rapidly expanding, there is an urgent need to arrange such useful training workshops for better community health services. A cohort of well-versed surgeons will lead to an elevated standard of patient care, subsequently heightening the prospects of successful treatment and recovery, thereby, making a substantial mark on the overarching healthcare infrastructure of Pakistan.
