We are thrilled to extend our heartfelt congratulations and deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the First Surgical Cancer Care Conference, held from January 18th to 22nd, 2024, at Arag Auditorium, Dow University of Health Sciences. This groundbreaking event, themed “Innovative Cancer Care – Eradicating Inequalities in Management,” brought together leading experts, both National and International, to address crucial advancements and challenges in cancer care.
Prof. M. Saeed Quraishy, Patron in Chief, Prof. Sajida Qureshi, Chair Conference, and Prof. S. M. Tariq Rafi, Chief Guest, was instrumental in its success.
Pre-Workshop Highlights:
The journey kicked off with a series of enlightening pre-workshops on January 18th and 19th, 2024. These workshops covered a spectrum of topics ranging from:
• Advanced Laparoscopic Skills: Lap Knot Tying, Suturing, and Anastomosis.
• Decoding the Clinical Research and Publication Process
• Live demonstrations on Minimally Invasive Esophagectomy
• Robotic Simulator Workshop
These pre-workshops provided hands-on learning opportunities for attendees.
Post-Workshop Insights:
• Live Demonstration on Robotic/Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery on January 22nd, 2024.
Conference Days Highlights:
The core conference days, on January 20th and 21st, 2024, were marked by engaging sessions led by esteemed speakers from around the globe. Each session concluded with an interactive Q&A session, fostering lively discussions and knowledge exchange among participants.
