On Friday, 27th September 2024, the Dermatology Department of DIMC, in collaboration with the Pakistan Association of Dermatologists, organized a highly successful academic session on eczema awareness at the Professional Development Centre (PDC), DIMC Ojha Campus. The session, held due to high demand, was the second in a series of GP/MO teaching activities aimed at improving the knowledge and skills of primary health workers in recognizing and managing various forms of eczema.
The event saw an impressive turnout of over 60 attendees, including participants from across Sindh and Balochistan. The interactive lecture series featured expert presentations from:
• Dr. Sadaf Ahmed Asim – HOD Dermatology, DIMC
• Dr. Fozia Shaikh – Consultant Dermatologist, SSH
• Dr. Sadia Bhatti – Assistant Professor of Dermatology, DIMC
The speakers addressed key academic queries, offered valuable clinical insights, and shared practical tips on diagnosing and managing eczema.
Dr. Manzoor Memon honored the event with his presence, sharing his expertise and helping guide general practitioners in recognizing and treating various eczema cases.
This session is part of a series of seven lectures designed to enhance patient care for common dermatological conditions.
