With immense excitement, the Dow University of Health Sciences sports rocks squad set off to the Pakistan Navy Engineering College-NUST to participate in the NUST Olympiad. Amidst competition among 80-plus teams and tough elimination legs to pass to get to the Quarters, 36 teams finally brought the field down to 8 teams match after match—a nerve-throbbing process.
The Dow University of Health Sciences badminton team reached the finals in the singles category through Abdullah Sani Shaikh from the Institute of Business Health Management DUHS. Sahibzada Ali Haider from Dow Medical College DUHS reached the quarters.
Being runners-up in volleyball, qualifiers for quarters, and facing tough competition in table tennis are some of the aspects of pride for Dow University of Health Sciences.
