The DUHS-KGS Summer Internship Programme at the Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) is in full swing!
Over the past week, we’ve witnessed tremendous success with a group of 24 bright and eager students of Karachi Grammar School, who have embarked on this exciting journey. This internship spans six different departments and institutes within DUHS, ensuring a comprehensive and holistic learning experience. From medicine to research, from business administration to allied health sciences.
So far, students have been actively engaged in hands-on experiments at the Dow College of Biotechnology department, where cutting-edge research happens every day. Imagine being immersed in the world of vaccine development, DNA testing, Fly Research, and other groundbreaking activities, all conducted in state-of-the-art laboratories. Students will continue their journey this week with the Institute of Medical Technology, Dow Diagnostic Research and Reference Laboratory (DDRRL), Dow International Medical College, Institute of Business & Health Management (IBHM), and Dow Skill Development Centre (DSDC).
