Social Impact and Outcomes

This collaborative initiative by GYM–CSSS (IBHM-DUHS), Dow Dental College (DDC), and Dow International Medical College (DIMC)successfully educated Grade 3 to 5 students through practical and engaging activities.

Grade 3 students learned the step-by-step WHO-recommended handwashing technique to prevent germs and illnesses, while Grade 4 and 5 students gained awareness on recycling plastic to grow plants using seeds – promoting environmental stewardship.

The program effectively promoted health awareness, sustainability thinking, and responsible behavior among young learners. It also strengthened interdepartmental collaboration within DUHS and reinforced IBHM’s commitment toward SDGs 2, 3, 6, and 12, fostering a foundation for healthier and greener communities.
