Environmental and Institutional Impact
The Clean & Green Drive, jointly coordinated by the Community Service & Sustainability Society (CSSS) and the Sindh Forest Department, created a significant environmental and educational impact at the OJHA Campus. With the plantation of over 60 trees, the initiative enhanced campus greenery, improved air quality, and transformed the area into a more sustainable and vibrant learning environment. An Awareness Session on Plantation and Environmental Conservation, conducted by officials from the Sindh Forest Department, enriched participants’ understanding of sustainability and ecological preservation.
The activity witnessed the active participation of more than 100 individuals, including students, faculty, admin staff, and representatives from corporate partners such as Darul Sehat Hospital, Hashmanis Group of Hospitals, ChildLife Foundation, AlKaram Towels Ltd., American Express Group, ArtxPro, and Minnova Medical Imaging. This broad collaboration strengthened IBHM’s institutional commitment to sustainability and positioned the campus as a model for climate-resilient practices in higher education — directly contributing to SDG 13 (Climate Action), SDG 15 (Life on Land), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
