A delegation of the Dow Graduates Association of North America (DOGANA), comprising Dr. Naushad Noorani (President-Elect 2026), Dr. Tariq Jawaid Alam (Secretary-Elect 2026), and Dr. Syed Arman Raza (Member, Board of Directors, Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America – APPNA), along with Dr. Babar Rao (President-Elect 2026, APPNA), visited Dow Medical College (DMC), DUHS on 29th December 2025.
The distinguished guests met with the Pro Vice Chancellor, Prof. Jahan Ara Hasan, and Principal, Dow Medical College, Prof. Saba Sohail, where comprehensive discussions were held on strengthening future collaboration and networking opportunities for students and alumni in North America.
Key areas of discussion included student electives, observerships, and structured career guidance through DOGANA, as well as ongoing and future projects of mutual interest aimed at benefiting the alma mater and expanding global exposure for DUHS students.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to sustained collaboration and cooperation to create meaningful academic and professional opportunities for students at DUHS.
The delegation also visited the Dr. Asif Rahman Simulation Centre, where they highly appreciated the state-of-the-art facilities and advanced simulation equipment, acknowledging its significant role in driving a paradigm shift in teaching and learning methodologies at DUHS.
