(Highlights) World Hypertension Day Walk at Dow Institute of Cardiology
The Dow Institute of Cardiology organized a Hypertension Awareness Walk today to highlight the dangers of this “silent killer.” The event aimed to raise public awareness about hypertension, its risks, and the importance of early detection through regular blood pressure monitoring.
Following the walk, fruits were distributed among patients to promote the benefits of a heart-healthy diet and emphasize the role of nutrition in managing blood pressure.
Hundreds of lives are lost every month due to undiagnosed or poorly managed hypertension. This awareness walk played a crucial role in educating the public and encouraging proactive health measures to prevent complications.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all participants who actively engaged, learned, and showed their support for heart health.
