On February 6, 2025, the faculty of Dr. Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan Institute of Oral Health Sciences (DIKIOHS) participated in an engaging workshop on Designing Effective Lesson Plans, held in the HEC Smart Classroom at the Digital Library. This interactive session equipped educators with the skills to develop effective and engaging lesson plans based on widely used instructional design models.
The session began with Dr. Khurram Parvez, Vice Principal of DIKIOHS, reciting a few verses from the Holy Quran. He provided valuable support throughout the workshop, helping contextualize the content for the faculty. Prof. Dr. Anwar Ali, Principal of DIKIOHS, addressed the participants, emphasizing the importance of professional growth and encouraging faculty members to refine their teaching strategies.
Dr. Nooreen Adnan facilitated the session, with Dr. Rubaba Azim from the Medical Education Department serving as the co-facilitator. Faculty members actively participated with enthusiasm, presented their lesson plans, and received immediate feedback, fostering collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and innovation. The workshop also explored the integration of AI to enhance lesson planning.
