PROGRAMME STRUCTURE

The programme structure provides essential foundation knowledge as preparation for further applied learning and the acquisition of skills for entry level practice.
Central to occupational therapy is the belief in the intrinsic need and value of occupation for health.

  1. Nomenclature
  2.  The Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy will be abbreviated to B.S. O.T

  3. Course Duration:
  4.  The course extends over four years
    The course is divided into eight semesters. (Two semesters per year)

  5. Compulsory University Courses:
  6. All the various programmes / units in the semester are compulsory.

  7. Conferment of Degrees:
  8.  At the end of the fourth year, students who have passed the scheduled university examination will be conferred with the degree of B.S occupational therapy.

  9. Attendance:
  10.  90% of attendance is mandatory for a student to appear in exams.
