INSTITUTE OF HEALTH MANAGEMENT (IHM) was established by DUHS in 2007 as the need was felt for development and improvement  of management skills in Health care workers, Physicians, Dentists, Pharmacists,  Nurses, and Medical Technologists etc.

The purpose of the MBA Health Management is to promote and help Government & Private organizations in protecting the public's health through the preparation of graduates for careers leading towards senior level leadership in health services management, pharmaceutical marketing and management, and to conduct research and disseminate knowledge that will advance the organization, financing and delivery of health and medical services.

The purpose of Executive MBA program to provide an opportunity for experienced professionals to obtain a master’s degree in Business Administration on a schedule that minimizes disruption of work and personal pursuits. A cohort class structure offers lockstep, planned curriculum in an executive setting, typically completing the degree requirements for graduation as a group. Executive MBA (EMBA) students are required to complete their degrees in two years. During that period, they gain a wide range of new skills and sharpen their analytical abilities by combining coursework with day-to-day professional experience. This Executive MBA degree program is designed for those executives and the middle level managers who strive for excellence and greater challenges in their professional life and also serve the community. The program is conveniently scheduled to accommodate the busy executives keeping in view their own job related deadlines and travel schedules.

IHM has also launched BBA (Morning) Program to enhance the employability and assimilation factor in the market. This is a four years degree program that aims to produce sources on variety of management and related issues.
