Monitoring Services: DUHS has a separate department for conducting periodical internal audits whereas external audit will be conducted by Dimension CRO. Biostatistics Facilities: CTU has complete facilities for statistical consultations, data entry, analysis, interpretation & report writing. Institutional Review Board: Institutional Review Board of DUHS is an independent committee comprising of subject specialists of various medical fields of DUHS and Aga Khan University, along with an ethicist, a lawyer, a religious scholar and a social worker.   It is designated to approve, monitor, and review biomedical and behavioral research involving humans/animals with the aim to protect the rights and welfare of the research subjects. Institutional Review Board of DUHS meets on last Saturday of every month & all the protocol submitted until 14th of that month are considered. Archiving Facilities: Archiving facilities are also available. DUHS CTU Affiliation and Recognitions:  DUHS has been identified by Ministry of Health (MoH), Pakistan as one of the sites of clinical trial center in the province of Sindh.
